We were delighted to be highly commended at the 2020 Modern Law Awards.
Our ESP Law team was both a finalist in the ‘ABS of the Year’ (highly commended) and ‘Boutique Law Firm of the Year (1-10 employees)’ at this year’s ceremony held at Victoria Warehouse in Manchester.
The recognition comes off the back of a 2019 to remember which saw us launch a market-leading cloud-based ER case management solution called MyHRCases. Our smart integrated system helps HR and ER professionals manage increased workloads and complex employment law issues.
In addition, our advisors have effectively handled over 3,500 new complex Employee Relations (ER) cases, and provide more than 5,700 hours of advice and support for 200-plus UK businesses – including Ladbrokes Coral Group, Greene King plc and Randstad – in the last 12 months alone.
Other highlights from our year has included having our six-strong, highly experienced employment law team – all of whom are working mums – host #ESPLawLive. This event welcomed around 80 HR and ER professionals to dissect the legal detail concerning workplace grievances and sexual harassment in the #MeToo era.
Throughout the year, we’ve maintained a 95% customer retention rate and cemented our reputation within a complex marketplace – recently adding a national rail service, a leading healthcare provider and a water utilities firm to our books. And there are many more in the pipeline!
In addition, the team has hit the headlines regularly, contributing nearly 60 thought-leadership features to revered publications including The Law Society Gazette, Legal Week, Personnel Today and People Management – reaching an audience of 2,465,530.
