For the second time in as many years, we will be attending the awards ceremony for the Legal Week Innovation Awards 2021.
That is because our ESP Law team has been shortlisted in the ‘Future of Legal Services Innovation – Alternative Business Structure (ABS)’ category. And, although this time it will take place virtually, we are hoping for the same result as 2019, having previously scooped the winning accolade!
Focusing on insight from our market-leading employee relations (ER) case management solution, MyHRCases, the judges heard how our legal advisory team had provided more than 6,000 hours of advice and managed nearly 4,000 cases via our platform throughout 2020.
In addition, for many of the 700-plus UK organisations we have supported, more than 700 hours of employer-based advice was delivered during the first UK lockdown in March – over a 30% increase compared to the previous year.
Alongside providing personalised, expert employment law advice to help our HR customers understand why ER should be a key strategic driver of positive transformation throughout their business, we are also one of the first ABS specialist employment law firms to be approved by the UK’s Solicitors Regulation Authority.
Our entry homed in on how we are not afraid to push boundaries and are continuing to disrupt a traditional legal sector, tackle the mature HR software market, and offer integrated service solutions. It also majored on our ability to be innovative when providing flexible, agile, and commercial advice to HR teams.
Alongside advising ER and HR professionals on furlough, redundancy, and employee sickness and pay throughout the pandemic, we are dedicated to helping businesses navigate beyond the crisis. In particular, we have begun to roll out our VIP #ESPLawLive webinar series – with the first one focusing on the benefits of judicial mediation. Watch this space for our next online event!
We are delighted to have been shortlisted in the Legal Week Innovation Awards 2021. Congratulations to all finalists and make sure you keep an eye out for the winner’s ceremony on 28th May. For the full shortlist, visit here.
