Sophia joined ESP Solicitors in 2024 as a newly qualified employment solicitor.
Positions held prior to qualification included managing a team of paralegals at a transatlantic law firm on high volume projects such as e-disclosure, subject access requests (SARs) and commercial contracts for national retailers and banking clients.
At ESP, Sophia’s non-contentious work includes advising on day-to-day employment issues, including policies and contracts, grievances and disciplinaries and SARs and settlement agreements. Her contentious work includes defending unfair dismissal, harassment, victimisation and discrimination claims in the Employment Tribunals on behalf of employers.
Examples of Sophia’s work include:
– Assisting a client with defending an unfair dismissal and disability discrimination claim
– Assisting on a large-scale redundancy process for a national retailer.
– Advising on related day-to-day employment matters for national retailers and manufacturers.
