Dan is an employment solicitor (11yrs PQE) with wide-ranging expertise, across both the public and private sector.  He has advised a broad range of clients most commonly HR professionals on employee relations issues and strategic projects. Dan is an enthusiastic trainer and presenter, evidenced by extensive teaching and training experience to different audiences. He is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.

Dan has over 13 years’ experience of advising employers in employment law including in-house at public authorities, local government, private SMEs and large national corporates.  He trained in London at a national firm and qualified into a smaller boutique London specialist employment firm.  After stays in house, as a personnel consultant and on an HR advice line, and in private practice, Dan had a career break to qualify as a secondary history teacher, help manage family and start a business.  Dan has also advised on and off at 3 different pro-bono law centres.  One interesting fact: as a Russian speaker, Dan has built a concert rig in Siberia for a well known drinks company. • Advising on various disability discrimination complaints, reasonable adjustments and returns to work and ill health retirement
• Multiple equal pay complaints involving over 30 staff
• Managing redundancies and unfair dismissals
• Family friendly related claims
• Drafting a TU collective agreement within a local authority
• Delivering different training sessions on different areas of employment law.

Dan is also a qualified Assistant RHS assessor and lecturer, an FA qualified football coach and has examined RHS college students.
