William is a Scottish-qualified solicitor with ten years of post-qualification experience. He has specialised in employment law since his qualification and is accredited as a specialist by the Law Society of Scotland.

William’s principal area of expertise is Employment Tribunal litigation, and he represents a diverse range of clients—both public and private sector—in proceedings across England and Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland. He is also an experienced litigator in the Employment Appeal Tribunal and has appeared personally before the EAT in both London and Edinburgh.

In addition to his Employment Tribunal caseload, William has a keen interest in tribunal procedure and is a regular participant in the Employment Tribunals (Scotland) National User Group. He is also actively involved in legal education, tutoring in employment law at the University of Edinburgh.
