Below is a suggested overview and structure of a best practice Handbook. It should be noted though that a Handbook is a highly personal working tool, setting out policies, behaviours expected and ‘how we do things around’ here expectations for all staff. Therefore each individual organisations’ Handbook (or Policies and Procedures manual or whatever else you may want to call it) should be viewed as an individual personal working and dynamic document. However, we hope you find the high level structure listed below a useful ‘starter for ten’ and it provokes some thoughts and ideas as to how we may work with you to create your very own staff handbook that is highly relevant to your own organisation.
