SRA badge

We are pleased to display the new SRA digital badge on our website.

The Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) trust mark is proof to our online visitors that, like other law firms in the UK, we are regulated. The digital badge also provides visitors with a link to information explaining how the SRA helps to protect them.

The SRA badge means:

  • Everyone who works for our law firm, ESP Law, meets the high standards set by the SRA.
  • We have the right level of insurance to protect you in case something goes wrong.
  • You may be able to claim through the SRA’s Compensation Fund if in the unlikely case our firm loses your money.
  • You can complain to the SRA if you are concerned about the behaviour of our firm.

The SRA regulates more than 180,000 solicitors and law firms in England and Wales. It aims to set the minimum professional standards that solicitors should adhere to so their clients – as consumers – get the service they expect.

The body’s purpose is to protect the public by ensuring that solicitors meet high standards, and by acting when risks are identified.

Peter Byrne, our founder, said: “It’s great as an alternative business structure to now be able to differentiate ourselves from unregulated providers.

“This badge is only proof that our firm and our solicitors meet the high standards set by the SRA and reinforces our mission to provide our customers with the highest level of legal services.”
