MLA19 highly commended

Update 31/01/2019 – We are thrilled to announce that we have been highly commended in the ABS of the Year category at the Modern Law Awards ceremony this evening!

We’re excited to share with you that ESP Law have been shortlisted for 'Alternative Business Structure of the Year' and 'Boutique Law Firm of the Year' at the Modern Law Awards 2019.

The Modern Law Awards is a highly prestigious ceremony celebrating entrepreneurship, market development and innovative business management. See the full shortlist for both awards here:

In 2015, we launched as one of the first regulated ABS law firms, redefining expectations of customer service in the legal sector and offering dedicated, unlimited specialist employment law advice for a fixed price annual subscription.

Additionally, it’s a significant achievement to be nominated as a finalist in the highly competitive category of Boutique Law Firm of the Year Award. Judges of this category select the shortlist based on a law firm’s development and progression over the past year, as well as their ability to establish themselves in their chosen market.

To gain recognition in both of these acclaimed categories is a reflection of the success we’ve had forging close relationships between the HR sector and legal profession. It’s proof that HR teams and employment lawyers can, and should, work together as one joined-up team.

“After being recognised as finalists in The Law Society Awards and Personnel Today Awards for the past couple of years, we couldn’t be more proud and honoured to be double finalists at the Modern Law Awards,” said Pete Byrne, CEO and Founder at esphr. “It is further reinforcement of our mission to distinguish ourselves from traditional law firms in our model of working and the level of service our customers have come to expect from their chosen legal and HR partner.”

The winners for both the ABS of the Year award and the Boutique Law Firm of the Year award will be announced on 31st January 2019 (fingers-crossed!).
