Since qualifying with Walker Morris in 2005, employment law specialist Suzanne has amassed more than 15 years’ industry experience which has included legal roles with Greenwoods GRM LLP and the City of Bradford Metropolitan Council.
Alongside her work in both the private and public sector, Suzanne has expertise representing large-scale household names in various industries including education, travel, retail, and manufacturing.
Throughout her career, Suzanne has dealt with a wide range of employee relations-related (ER) matters. Recently she was seconded from her usual legal advisory role to act as an HR Business Partner for a construction client and led a specific element of a change programme which involved redundancies and restructuring.
Suzanne joins our six-strong ESP Law team who has always worked from home. She will be based in Lincolnshire and responsible for providing commercially focused advice to help many of our hundreds of UK employers – including Greene King, Randstad and Entain plc – to drive strategic and meaningful change in their organisations.

Commenting on how important an effective ER strategy will be for organisations to successfully move beyond the Covid-19 pandemic, Suzanne added: “Managing people has never been more vital. There’s a huge amount of pressure on stretched HR teams, and many have risen to the occasion despite facing incredibly challenging circumstances.
“There’s still work to be done to overcome vast global change, and I’m excited to guide and support employers, and help them to ensure ER is firmly number one on their strategic agenda.”
